  Kimi Antonelli vs. Lewis Hamilton Comparing a rookie campaign to Lewis Hamilton’s 2007 debut is usually motorsport blasphemy because, for me, the metrics are too different .  Still, I am going to try, and I am old enough to remember the season when a Young Lewis Hamilton burst onto the F1® scene. The Stealth Bomber Takes Flight: Cadillac’s Historic Silverstone Shakedown

The wait is over. Yesterday, the silence of the English countryside was shattered by a sight many thought they’d never see: a Cadillac F1 car blasting through the legendary curves of Silverstone. 


In an all-black "stealth" livery that looked more like a high-altitude bomber than a racing machine, the American outfit officially marked its birth on the world stage.

The Veteran Duo: Perez and Bottas


Cadillac has made its intentions clear by securing two of the most experienced "safe pairs of hands" on the grid. Sergio "Checo" Perez and Valtteri Bottas carry the honour of being the first drivers to helm a Cadillac F1 car.


On Friday, it was Checo who took the primary driving duties, completing the initial laps while Bottas remained embedded with the engineers, poring over metrics and live data. 


Both drivers left the circuit brimming with enthusiasm, noting the car’s immediate balance and the professional "Works" feel of the new operation.
