He has pledged to take this massive regulation reset as a huge positive, viewing it as the perfect opportunity to bring a legendary team back to the front. 

Alongside the equally talented Alex Albon, Williams now possesses a driver pairing that can finally focus 100% on car development.

The Vowles Effect

For the first time in a long time, Williams has a "strong hand on the tiller." Team Principal James Vowles has hit the ground running, making no secret of the fact that this is a long-term play. He is restructuring, making key new appointments, and instilling a level of confidence that has permeated every corner of the factory.
