Why Silverstone Remains F1®’s Ultimate Race

Why Silverstone Remains F1 ® ’s Ultimate Race There are glamorous street circuits, and there are ultra-modern desert oasis race tracks, but nothing on the global calendar matches the raw, unadulterated soul of the  British Grand Prix ,  even though I tell Seante Grand Prix clients that it's jeans, raincoats, and walking boots. Silverstone isn’t just another race weekend; it is the spiritual home of Formula 1® , hosting the sport's very first World Championship race back in 1950. At Senate Grand Prix , our trackside teams know that conquering this former wartime airfield requires something far beyond standard mechanical grip. It requires pure, unyielding courage. The Ultimate Aero Gauntlet What makes Silverstone the definitive favourite for drivers and fans alike is its blistering, high-speed layout. The Trinity: Copse, Maggots, and Becketts form the most iconic sequence of corners in motorsport. Drivers tackle these sweeps at over 180mph, pulling up to 5g of later...

The Red Resurrection: Ferrari’s 2026 Mission to Reclaim the Throne

There is a restlessness in Maranello.

While the world celebrates a new champion, the most iconic team in racing history is quietly, relentlessly laying the groundwork for a revolution, and it's been an open discussion here at Senate Grand Prix that Ferrari needs to return to winning ways, and what can they do to change the drought.

Ferrari isn't just preparing for 2026; it's fighting for its very identity.

The Hamilton-Leclerc Powerhouse

The sights at the Fiorano test track and the Maranello wind tunnel tell a story of singular focus. Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc are not just teammates; they have become the ultimate development duo.

Behind the scenes, Lewis has brought his legendary work ethic, spending gruelling hours with the technical and aerodynamics teams to refine the "nimble car" concept of the 2026 regulations.

Alongside him, Charles is working hand in hand with the engine department to master the complexities of the new 50/50 electrical power split.

This blend of Lewis’s unparalleled experience and Charles’s raw, homegrown speed is Ferrari’s most significant weapon as they navigate the new sporting and technical landscapes.

A Generation Waiting for Red

To understand the weight on their shoulders, we have to look at the numbers. The last time the Prancing Horse stood atop the world was a lifetime ago in F1 terms:

We now have an entire generation of fans—from the booming new audience in America to the surge of young female fans worldwide—who have never seen Ferrari win a title.

To these new enthusiasts, Ferrari is a legend they’ve read about, not one they’ve witnessed.

For many of these fans, Ferrari is known as the manufacturer of the world's most beautiful road cars, but in the paddock, they’ve only ever known "decades of mediocrity." They see the red cars as iconic, yes, but not as the dominant, world-class force they once were.

The Road Back to Greatness

It is vital for the sport that Ferrari gets back to winning ways. Formula 1 is at its best when the Scuderia is fighting for the crown.

The 2026 reset represents the ultimate chance to bridge the gap between their "road car royalty" status and their "on-track reality."

The mission for 2026 is clear: prove to the new generation that the Prancing Horse
doesn't just look good in a showroom—it belongs on the top step of the podium.

The technical foundations are being laid, the drivers are putting in the work, and the Tifosi are waiting.

And as always, when the lights go out and the drama unfolds, here at Senate Grand Prix, there is only one winner, and that's you, the race fans!
