The Austin, Texas Grand Prix is Looming At The Circuit of The Americas™
Here at Senate Grand Prix, the F1® news cycle never sleeps.
Today’s top headlines regarding the remaining races revolve around the two McLaren hopefuls and the long mathematical shot for Max.
However, with a 22-point deficit and Max Verstappen's resurgence to a permanent position on the podium, the narrative is being rewritten at every race, and it's not a standard affair as Zak Brown had hoped. With the unpredictable Austin Grand Prix looming, I, for one, am excited by every race, not knowing what the outcome will be.
The biggest headline of the day comes from Max Verstappen, who felt it was his pole position in Singapore, and Lando Norris disrupted that pole.
It wasn't intentional on Lando's part, as he has a lot on his mind in that cockpit and was probably having a moment of reflection and not thinking. He must be under tremendous pressure right now, and it's not a battle Lando needs right now, as his focus is on closing the gap on Oscar.
The biggest immediate battle is approaching, and that is the Austin, Texas, Grand Prix; Lando Norris is closing the gap on Oscar Piastri, and Max Verstappen is causing problems with his newly hit form. For me, the tension is palpable as the circus prepares for the United States Grand Prix in Texas. As I always say, the COTA club circuit is a pure race track, and you never really know who is going to win.
And as always, when the lights go out and the drama unfolds, here at Senate Grand Prix, there is only one winner, and that's you, the race fans!
