Hungaroring's Transformation: Ready for the 40th Hungarian GP!

The Formula 1® season is relentless, bringing us spectacular circuits and thrilling battles. This August, the F1® circus arrives in Budapest for the 40th Hungarian Grand Prix, and it's set to be a momentous occasion!

To mark this significant milestone, the Hungaroring has undergone a truly striking transformation over the past year, transforming it into a state-of-the-art F1® venue.

As we move closer to the Hungarian Grand Prix, the incredible construction and renovation work will be unveiled to the world on August 1, 2025. And when I say 'renovation,' it is a complete reimagining of the entire racing complex for fans, facilities for drivers, and future-proofing the race track to accommodate more garages and paddocks as the sport of F1® grows.

The new main building is nothing short of impressive

It now houses 40 garages (36 for teams and four for technical services), a vast catering and Paddock Club VIP area, modern administrative offices, and a stunning rooftop terrace. At the same time, full completion isn't expected to be fully complete until April 2026.

Enhanced Fan Experience: New Grandstands and Tunnels

The upgrades aren't just for the teams. Race fans are in for a treat, too! Also new are two tunnels meticulously connecting the paddock to the redesigned grandstand, making access and flow significantly smoother. The covered grandstand itself is a sight to behold, now accommodating 10,000 spectators and boasting a new terrace along with upgraded, modern commentator booths. The aim is precise: a better, more immersive experience for everyone.

With the Grand Prix set to return to Hungary in the first week of August, this race never disappoints. It's generally run in the blistering mid-European summer heat, where engines overheat, gearboxes can fail, and tyre wear becomes absolutely everything.

It's a demanding circuit known for its twisty, technical layout, often compared to a karting track due to its lack of long straights. This means teams run Monaco-levels of downforce, rewarding a well-sorted chassis over raw horsepower. It promises to be a thrilling spectacle, pushing both man and machine to their limits in the summer heat.

And as always, when the lights go out and the drama unfolds, here at Senate Grand Prix, there is only one winner, and that's you, the race fans!
