F1® Chinese Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton On Pole

As Europe wakes up this morning, it will discover that Lewis Hamilton of Scuderia Ferrari HP has won his first pole position of the year. At 3 am UK time, qualifying for the first sprint race of the year at the Chinese Grand Prix began.

We were all shocked and somewhat delighted to hear the news that the British seven-time world champion was on Pole, and as always, this sparked hot debate in the office of who would win on Sunday and whether this newfound pace is because of a lightened fuel load and only hot lap pace when race pace is what is needed to gain points in the championship and the constructor's title. 

With Lewis eagerly looking for his record-breaking eight-world title, could this be the spark that starts the fire in Lewis and Ferrari to be a competitive forerunner for this year's title?
