  Why the 2026 Regulations are Exactly What F1 ®  Needed I have listened, and I have listened, and I have watched the new F1 ® Era!  I have to say I am happy with what I am seeing. The debate over Formula 1 ® ’s new technical era is heating up in the paddock, but let’s be honest: these radical changes are exactly what the sport needed. While purists push back against active aerodynamics and unpredictable electrical deployment strategies, the metrics on our screens don't lie.  Overtaking is up, and the racing has been nothing short of thrilling. Killing the ' Dirty Air' Monster For years, the " dirty air " aerodynamic wake ruined close wheel-to-wheel racing.  Getting stuck behind a rival meant losing vital downforce, killing your momentum, and destroying your tyres within a handful of laps.  That modern aero war had to end to protect the soul of trackside racing, and while reliability is somewhat off, what we are seeing is very interesting. Congratulations Lando Norris

 


Congratulations to Lando Norris for winning the Australian Grand Prix

At Senate HQ, we have an in-house debate about who will win each race. 

The debate typically happens a week before each race, and we then spend the week arguing over who will win.

So we collectively produced a top five, and it's been pointed out that we guessed the winner right with Lando Norris. But that is the only part of the prediction we got correct. The rest, we were way off. 

So, while we are currently at a 100% winner success rate and guessing that Landon Norris of the McLaren F1 team would win the rest, we got hugely wrong. So, Well done to us, I think :). 

So, our guess for Australia was as follows:

P1. Lando Norris (McLaren)

P2. Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari)

P3. Max Verstappen (Red Bull)

P4. Charles Leclerc (Ferrari)

P5. Oscar Piastri (McLaren)
