Here at Senate Grand Prix, we like new records and history being made, and with Kimi Antonelli officially announcing his arrival, becoming the second-youngest winner in F1® history and cementing a perfect start for Mercedes.
Toto Wolf is full of smiles as he now has two wins from two races; the Silver Arrows hold a commanding 31-point lead over Ferrari in the standings.
However, it’s not all celebrations
The FIA is facing a formal letter of complaint from Formula One® drivers regarding stewarding standards—a sentiment echoed by some in the F1® pit lane after the "Cylinder Boost" controversy. So there will be more news to come.
Meanwhile, the Middle East conflict has forced the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, creating an unexpected five-week gap before the circus resumes in Miami this May.
Ferrari is already planning a private test at Monza to fast-track upgrades for the SF-26.
At the same time, McLaren holds "crisis talks" with Mercedes after a disastrous double-DNS for Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri in Shanghai. The "Great Reset" is proving to be a brutal master for some, but a dream for others.
And as always, when the lights go out and the drama unfolds, here at Senate Grand Prix, there is only one winner, and that's you, the race fans!
